Welcome to Aion Professions.
Aion Professions is a database for the MMO Aion by NCsoft. All of the information has been parsed from the client's XML files and will be updated as new patches are released. All crafting will be covered for both races with additional features added over time. I play the game and feel that the large MMO Database websites don't provide a good searchable database specifically for crafting. Here you will find a database written by actual Aion players, with features we use daily in game.
My intention is to provide useful information in an easy to access manor. Not to flashy, just information that's easy to see and navigate. My primary goal will always be to make things quicker and easier. I will never use icons with out text, waiting for a pop-up to read what something is just doesn't make sense.
New Feature!
Unit Cost, now provides a link for more detailed recipe pricing. Following the link provides a page that will calculate the cost for any number of items. Additionally, prices can be set for the gathered/crafted materials as well as setting the tax to match your server's current tax rate.

New features are tested, but I can't possibly verify every recipe. If you find something wrong please let me know via the in game mail system, I'm Zarek on Marchutan. I know this makes it hard for people on other servers to contact me. I hope to add a feedback section, but my first focus has been on getting features implemented. I just don't have time for requests yet.
I've also started a thread at aionsource. Feedback Thread
Usage Tips
1 - The search box isn't just for names. It searches all fields. This refers to the table search, google search in the header is still in testing!
2 - All of the work order items are Item Level 1. Setting the minimum to 2 or higher will remove all work orders.
3 - You can sort on multiple columns by shift clicking. For example, click Item Level, then hold shift and click rarity. Now you have items sorted by level and then Rarity.
A note on taxes. It seems the ingame tax can vary slightly on vendor items. I've yet to find any good explanation for it, so in some cases the estimated cost is a few kinah higher than in game. It's not much (1-4 kinah) but if I find a more accurate way to calculate it I'll correct it.

Completed parsing of recipes from client files. This has been my primary goal since launching and includes:
1 - Much faster page load times. I believe this will completely remove the page timeout errors.
2 - More recipes, including all Asmodian recipes.
3 - Conversions added.
4 - New "Unit Cost" column in the table. This tells the Vendor Cost to the crafter even if all of the ingredients are provided. The assumption is made that base items are provided. The crafter for example will have to make Ingots and Nails from ore. The price listed is PER ITEM, meaning if 3 potions costing 60 Kinah/each are crafted the
minimum cost is 60*3 = 180 Kinah. If no price is listed no vendor materials are necessary for a recipe.
5 - Filtering by race is now included in the main navigation menu.
6 - Quantity is now listed on items that create multiple on a single craft. If no quantity is listed, it's a quantity of one.
7 - Rarity is color coded for quicker reading.
8 - Ingredient list cleaned up to make it easier to read.
9 - The occasional recipe that can have two different crit results now list both possible results.

New Item database with over 35,000 items parsed directly from the client files. All item names should now be 100% accurate, and this lays the groundwork for me to parse other information. Next up are the recipes which should bring with it a significant decrease in page load time as well as a few new features!

Changed initial load to show all items. This fixes item tool-tip loading, if the searches are slow, simply change the display from “all” to “25” and it will be quick again, while also keeping the item tool-tips.
